Snowden touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Moon and Lorana Cleo Grasty; and his brother Jimmy (Jeanne). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his daughters, Marsha (Larry) and Sharon of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, Michelle Schilling (Randy) of Bondurant, IA, Robert Evans of Des Moines, IA and David Abbott (Faren) of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Micaela (Carter), Matthew, Savannah and Haileigh; and his great great grandchild Raelynn. He is also survived by many extended family members and their pets.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (8250 NW 62nd Ave, Johnston, IA 50131). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Glendale Cemetery (4909 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
