It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Harper (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley Mae had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley Mae may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schnoor and Helen Schnoor (Butler); her brother David Schnoor; and her husband William Harper. She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Schnoor, Ed Schnoor (Brenda), Richard Schnoor and Rita Clark. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
