She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Porter and Ernestine Porter; her husband Virgil Palmore; her daughter La Tasha Porter; her siblings, Easter White, Helen White and Homer Porter III; her nephew Damian Baker of Aaron Porter; and her granddaughter Ravonna Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Jones, June Terry and Harry Porter; her child Taline Jones of Omarie Porter; her grandchildren, DeMarcus Jones (Toya), Tramell Evans Jones, DalVon Woods, Ser Braden Smith, Geneine Jones and Caleb Jones; and her daughter Tanika Okoiruele (Christopher).
