She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Ness and Elsie Ness. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Erin Yacinich (Pat) of Adel, Iowa, Tim Mahoney (Shannon) of Arlington Heights, Illinois and Mike Mahoney (Pam) of Waukee, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jessie (Rob), Jake (Jordan), Shea, Luke, Jack, Aubrey, Zoey and Bailey; her great grandchild Tommy; and her brother Gary Ness (Heather) of Worthington, Ohio. She is also survived by friends; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future family named scholarship fund.
