With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott Simpson (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Scott is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Scott's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Joel R. Simpson. He is survived by: his mother Joyce M. Reiling; his grandmother Gwen Reiling; his daughter Norah Rose Simpson; his stepdaughter Ava Jo Broecker; and his stepbrother Jason Simpson. He is also survived by loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
