Sandy Sue Corbin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandy Sue Corbin of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Nevada, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Earl and Flossie Rebecca Pierce (Hopper); her husband Herman Edward Corbin; her children, Ralph Corbin and Claudia Atkinson; her siblings, Jim Pierce, Raymond Pierce, Alvin Pierce, Donna Pierce and Ruth Yocum; her son John Corbin; and her grandson Joshua Corbin.

She is survived by: her children, Diana McCray (Louis) of Des Moines, Kent Corbin (Teri) of Urbandale and Daniel Corbin (Kay Sparrgrove) of Des Moines; her siblings, Robert Pierce (Sylvia) and Beverly Sickles (Robert); and her pet Dolly. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the family in memory of Sandy for use to be determined at a later date.
