She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shafer and Violet Shafer (Eshelman); her husband Robert; her siblings, Paul Shafer, David Shafer and Alice Hollingsworth; and her sister-in-law Carol Bartelt.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Berry, Michael Bartelt and Kelly Bartelt; her grandchildren, Alex Berry (Bre), Sean Berry, Amanda Hoffman (Scott), Blake (Angelina), Walker Bartelt (Marissa) and Kasi Bartelt (Creed Duncan); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Emma, Tristan, Malakai, Tate, Wilder, Ruthie and Vince; and her sisters-in-law, Deloris Hill (Lowell) and Mary Whitcomb (Vince).
