We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2024, at the age of 81, Russell Carter (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Homer D. Carter and Geraldine Carter. He is survived by: his wife Janice Bierman; his sister Roslyn R. McCarty (Bob); his children, Mark Lloyd Carter (Susan) and Stephanie Erin Randles (Wesley); and his stepdaughter Angeline Michelle Riley (Eric).
Memorial contributions may be directed to Fort Des Moines Church of Christ or the Wounded Warriors in loving memory of Russell.
