She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Fiscel and Joyce Fiscel (Gallagher); her brother Randy Fiscel; and her grandchildren, Blake and Harlie Heaviland.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Merritt; her daughter Jennifer Jacobe (Jeffrey Glaspie); her grandsons, Bryce and Evan; her son Justin Jacobe (Jaisa); her grandchildren, Jayla and Jaxson Jacobe; her brother Rick Fiscel (Bev); her sister-in-law Teri Fiscel; her nephew Jason (Ali); her grandchild Dom Fiscel; her son Michael Merritt (Charlotte); her grandchildren, Claudia "CJ", Murphy, Makayla and Donovan; and also Courtney Fiscel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League or Compassionate Friends in memory of Ronda.
