He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Sparks and Ola Sparks; and his siblings, Leona, Florine, Jackie, Dixie, David and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Vicki, Robert II (Mechelle) and Glen; his grandchildren, Sarah (Jason), Kimberly (Chris), Robert III, Angel, Jacob and Adam; his great grandchildren, Jacoby, Jonah, Jett and Jia; his sister Colleen; and his brother-in-law Stan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (525 NW 54th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
