It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Mueller (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Fecker and Gertrude Emma Fecker (Metz); and her siblings, Anthony, Gustave, Joseph Fecker and Eleanor Fecker.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Reitz of Galena; her daughter Melrita Ellen Hamilton (Reitz) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Michael Hamilton, Sarah Witt (Aaron) and Kathryn Brandt (Brian); her great grandchildren, Hannah of Des Moines, Liam Witt of Des Moines, William Hamilton of Des Moines and Gus Brandt of Des Moines; and her sister Rosemary Waldschmidt of Riverside.
