Rebecca Leanne Cretsinger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Leanne Cretsinger of Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 56. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Orton Jr. and Janice Gordon Orton Hayes; her stepfather Steve Hayes; and her grandparents, Kenneth, Beulah Gordon, Dale Sr. and Dorothy Orton.
She is survived by: her husband Troy Cretsinger of Des Moines; her children, Zachary Cretsinger of Des Moines, Amber Cretsinger of Adel, Samantha Cretsinger of Des Moines, Cody Cretsinger of Des Moines and Timothy Cretsinger (Clare) of Scotland; her sister Brenda Belt (Lee) of Catoosa, OK; her stepsiblings, Kris Hayes Pearson (Mike) of Wisconsin and Bob Hayes (Diane) of Wisconsin; and her in-laws, Doug and Connie Cretsinger of Grimes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Graceland Cemetery.
