Rebecca J. Sims Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca J. Sims (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Ottumwa, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Buffington and Betty Buffington. She is survived by: her sons, Nick Sims (Liza Jacobs) and Zach Sims (Haley); her grandson Dean Robert Sims; her brother Stephen Lindsay; and her nieces, Ashley Willits and Courtney Trefil (Brian).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winchester Public House (224 5th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
