He was predeceased by: his parents, James Griffin and Judith Griffin; his sisters, Peggy Delany and Lori Stevens; his father-in-law Mike Gomez; and his sister-in-law Esther Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki Griffin; his children, Heather Gomez and Ray Ray Griffin II; and his grandchildren, Zayne, Zayden, Gabriel and Nayeli.
