Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Joy Thompson of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Corwith, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 91, on April 6, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Wildman and Iva Wildman (Bogard); her husband Raymond Thompson; her granddaughter Danielle Marie; her cousins, Karen Hauge, Lyle Meyers and Leonard Meyers; and her sister-in-law Genevieve "Gen" Schoon.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Bergman; her grandchildren, Andy Olson (Mindy), Amber Sampson (Russ), Alisha Seger (Chad) and Monica Bergman; her sister Jerrill Parham; her niece Michelle Trask; and her sisters-in-law, Ersel Rushton, Geneva Jessip, Joyce Stringfellow and Pauline Rodgers. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Corwith Cemetery.
