With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy June Dameron of Des Moines, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Lenord and Zara Geneva Norfleet (Gordon); her husband Wallace Dameron; her sons, James, Michael Barnes and Anthony Dameron; and her son-in-law Archie White.
She is survived by: her children, Zara White (Barnes), Linda Barnes, Tamri Dameron and Damita Sterling (Michael); her siblings, Marshall Norfleet, Brenda Hutchenson, Silvia Sharp, Michael Thomkins, Monty, Vanessa and Leslie Norfleet; and her pet Taz. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corinthian Baptist Church (814 School St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
