With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paulette Lee Wood (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Paulette Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paulette Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Loretta Jans; and her grandparents, Albert and Bert Saltou. She is survived by: her husband Larry Wood; her sons, Ross Wood of Des Moines and Steven Wood (Tonya) of Des Moines; her grandson Ashton Bellah; her great grandchild Brynlee Bellah of Norwalk, Iowa.; her sister Connie Deaver (Gery); her nieces, Kristi Uselding (John) and Kara Chang (Paul); and her godchild Elyse Bagan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope United Methodist Church (4525 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310).
