She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Sr. Dooley and Rose Margaret Dooley; her brothers, Max Dooley, Jr. (Sharon) and Dan Dooley (Sherry); her nephew Eric Dooley; and her son-in-law Michael Green.

She is survived by: her husband Dale LaFary; her children, Dan Dooley (Echo Michelle), Charlotte Little and Megan Pyles (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Joanne Dooley, Daniel Dooley, Jr. (Aubrey), Makenzie Tamse (Josh), Braydon Vanderpool, Austin Pyles (Rachel), Brianna Vanderpool and Brooklyn Little. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the family.
