She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Martin and Mabel Martin; her husband Elbert LaVerne Johnson; and her siblings, Robert Martin and Marilyn Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Rick (Denise), Randy (Connie) and Debbie Russell (Walt); her grandchildren, Beth Marchant (Chad), Trisha Tanney, Anna Bedard (Roland), Randi Lynn Malone (Taylor), Joe Russell (Megan), Brent Johnson and Holly Thompson (Joe); her great grandchildren, Christian, Kathryn, Parker, Brooklyn, Reece, Riley, Regan, Maiya, Bailey, Jacksen and Katie; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Murray and Judy Martin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
