He is survived by: his wife Ginger Ann Dashiell; his daughters, Ana (Pat), Xenia, Maria, Victoria and Diana (Mark); his grandchildren, Tori (Josh), Tabbatha (Christopher) and Dashiell; and his sisters, Virginia and Carmen.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel (3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (3300 Easton Blvd, Des Moines, IA 50317).
