He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Tom" and Colleen Thompson (Murphy); his brother Robin Thompson; and his father-in-law Don Forret. He is survived by: his wife Toni Thompson; his children, Todd Thompson (Kim) and Tia Wolett (DJ); his grandchildren, Gavin Fedosa, Rylee Thompson, Jake Thompson and Matthew Thompson; his great grandchild Kyler Fedosa; his sisters, Pam Moreland (Al) and Missy Thompson (Eric); and his mother-in-law Roberta Forret. He is also survived by relatives and many special friends.
