He was predeceased by: his sister Deborah; and his parents, John Herron and Joyce Herron. He is survived by: his sons, Michael R Phillips Jr. and Chase Cubacub Phillips; and his siblings, Janet Reynolds, Susan Johnson, Rick Herron (Leyda), Brian Herron (Jenny) and Brock Herron (Luann).
