He was predeceased by: his father William Hatchitt. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Hatchitt; his girlfriend Vicky Freel; his daughter Scarlett Voshell; his brother Ryan Hatchitt; his aunts and uncles, Craig Burchfield, Dixie Burchfield, Carla Lucas and Dennis Hatchitt; his grandchildren, Brendan Freel, Kaylee Freel, Miranda Freel and Oaklynn Voshell; and his stepson Joshua Freel. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Michael.
