With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Allan Zager of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanly Merle and Mary Ellen Zager (Ryan); his siblings, Ronald Zager, Jerry Zager and Dolores Burns; his niece Barbara Zager; his nephew Daniel Zager; and his sister-in-law Judy Zager.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Wolf; his nephew Ray Bertrand; his children, Melissa Zager of Des Moines, Lori Clark (Chad) of Pleasantville and Matt Zager (Chrissy) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Tanner Clark (Kaitlyn), Taylor Clark (Kaleb) and Tristan Clark; and his brother Stephen Zager (Sheila) of Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to the First Baptist Church.
