She was predeceased by: her mother Thelma Brubaker; and her brother Darrell Brubaker. She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her children, Stephen Briles (Christina), John Briles (Penni) and Ellyn Briles; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Taylor), Collin, Danielle and Darian; her great grandchildren, Emmett and Ellie; and her brother Bill Brubaker.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in loving memory of Mary Lou.
