He is survived by: his mother Ora Washington; the mother of his children Shalon Edwards; his siblings, James Wright, Billy Joe Washington, Tensy Merrill, Teresa Wright, John Washington Jr., Bobby Washington, Tara Washington and Bernard Washington; his children, Marshayla Washington and Mark Paige; and his grandchildren, Amiayah Paige, MaKayla Paige and Markus Paige. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Corinthian Baptist Church (814 School St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
