He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Wissler and Velma Wissler; and his siblings, Malcolm Wissler and Betty Watson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kennedy of Lewis; his son Mike (Sara); his grandsons, Matthew and Benjamin Wissler of Exeter; his son Steve (Cindy) of Ankeny; and his grandchildren, Max Wissler (Katy) of Urbandale and Zoe Ginther (JJ).
