She was predeceased by: her husband John Barrett; and her parents, Walter Woodcock and Opal Woodcock. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Barrett (Deanna) and John Barrett (Luisa); and her grandchildren, Alexandria Lunn, Jefferson Barrett, Matthew Barrett, Isabella Barrett, Alexander Barrett, Anthony Barrett and Catherine Barrett. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at 8:00 PM at the Order of the Eastern Star Presentation Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Center Grove Cemetery.
