It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Marie Manship of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Haverhill, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Knoll and Freida Knoll; her daughter Kimberly; and the parents of child, Alfred and Freida.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin (Cyndi) of Des Moines and Ken (Jennifer) of Nampa; her grandchildren, Savannah of Des Moines and Jacob of Prairie City, Iowa.; her former husband John Manship; and her family, Kevin Joseph Manship, Kimberley Ann Manship and Ken Michael Manship.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Teresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church (1230 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines, IA 50311). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
