She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen "Bonnie" Turner McCombs and Robert "Bob" McCombs; her sister Rhonda; her great-nephew Cody; and her stepdaughter Christina.
She is survived by: her husband David Church; her son Jonas Merritt (Tricia) of Albert City, Iowa; and her siblings, Brenda Wilson (Geoff) of Ottumwa, Iowa and Richard James (Ruth) of Albia, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends.
