He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Grandstaff and Marilyn Grandstaff (Finley); his brothers, Mike Smith and Rick Grandstaff; and his niece Heather Lister.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathi Harris (Dale) of Des Moines, Sandy Malone of Florence, Barb Slater (Dennis) of Des Moines, Heidi Schultz of Louisville, Kentucky, James "Jim" Smith of Tiffin and Tony Smith of Eldon, Missouri. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
