She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emma Barberio and Joseph Barberio; her children, John of Lakewood, Colorado and Judy Howard of Windsor Heights; her grandchildren, Jayme Howard (Rachel), Anne Howard (Dan Allerman) of Urbandale and John Michael Douglas of Westminster, Colorado; and her great grandchild Isaac Flathers.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (1230 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines, IA 50311). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Glendale Cemetery (4909 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
