He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ecker and Helene Ecker; his uncle Bill Vaughan; and his significant other Diane Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Rendina (Ryan); his grandchildren, Samuel, James of Maryland and Diane; and his great grandchildren, Debbie, Sherri, Terri and Amy of Iowa.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2926 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
