We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joanne Marie Monahan of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Adams and Richard Adams of Stephen's Grade School; her husband Dennis Monahan; her son John Monahan; her grandparents, Marie, Paul Adams, Frances and Ernest Harper; and her siblings, Richard, Paul and Virginia.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick (Gwen), Mark, James, William (Karol Rivera-Monahan) and Matthew Monahan; her grandchildren, Armando, Emilio and Joanna Monahan; and her sisters, Marilyn Hedlund, Kathleen Coon, Marcia Adams, Marie Johnson and Frances Johnson. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel (3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
