Joan M. Williams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Williams (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kirkpatrick and Martha Kirkpatrick (Marxen); her husband Bob Williams; and her sister LaVonne Parish. She is survived by: her daughters, Shonna Williams and Dawnette Brown; her son-in-law Scott Brown; her grandchildren, Hayley Naset, Hannah Miller (Patrick), Mallory Moore (Stephen) and Connor Brown; her great grandchildren, Landon Mack, Rory Mack, McKenna Miller and Scarlett Moore; her siblings, Duane Kirkpatrick (Margaret) and Sharon Kirkpatrick; and her sister-in-law Ina Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
