She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shade and Margaret Shade (Cheatom); her siblings, Ronnie Shade, Floyd Shade and Barbara Yonnie; and her grandchildren, Quai Horton and Keontae Horton.
She is survived by: her husband Alred Butts; her children, Maurice Shade, Iesha Shade-Butts and Shailynn Butts; and her siblings, George Shade Jr. (Marjorie), Eugene Shade, Tim Shade (Debbie), Raymond Shade, Rickie Shade (Patricia), Vanessa Shade-Long, Vetta Shade and Marlene Shade.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Ministries (1903 53rd St, Des Moines, IA 50310). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
