He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wright and Nelle Wright (Carpenter); his wife Laura Wright (Frazier); and his sister Betty Cummings. He is survived by: his daughters, Annette Fath (David) and Karen Hadden (Rick); his grandchildren, Jennifer Staple (Josh), Melanie Chubb (Shawn), Mary Thompson (George) and Lindsay LaGrange; his great grandchildren, Stella, Fox, Lexi, Ryker, Beckett, Kyler and Beatrice; and his sister Janie Van Zyl.

Memorials may be given in his name to Suncrest Hospice.
