He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rolan and Jane Rolan (McManigal); his siblings, Bill, Terry, Ronald Rolan and Pat (Larry); and his son Jesse Mueller.
He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Tammy Spencer, Mike Murphy (LouAnn), Michelle Murphy-Clausen (Robert Clausen), Dedrie Murphy-Lidstrom (Erik Lidstrom), Patrick Murphy (Lisa) and Sean Murphy; his grandchildren, Michelle, Shane, Sarah, James, Arin, Beth, Steve, Brittainy, Nathan, Brandon, Devin, Felicia and Michael; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Mercedes, Sophia, Cameron, Carter, Loy, Lindsey, Landen, Sawyer, Ariana, Ava, James and Quinn; his sister Donna Allen; and his sister-in-law Judy Rolan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
