He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alex Weir and Jeanette Weir; his wife Linda; his children, Julie, Jennifer, Angie and Anthony; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Natalie, Jacob, Jeremiah Aiden, Ben and Tyler.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
