He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Schwartz and Frances Schwartz; and his parents-in-law, Leon and Dorothy Eggers. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Krystina Riley (John) and Ben Schwartz (Shawna); his grandchildren, Logan, Mason and Grace Riley; and his siblings, Michael Schwartz (Marilyn) and Jo-Ann Rapaport (Michael). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Donations in his name will be contributed to a science charity of his choosing.
