She was predeceased by: her parents, Germanus Imm and Alice Lillian Imm (Bjork); her husband Bob Rod; her stepfather Oliver Peterson; her brother Ronald Imm; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Imm, Joan Engquist, Howard Engquist and Wayne Kuehn.
She is survived by: her children, David Rod (Sue) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Donna Rod (Scott Figg) of Bettendorf, IA, Karen Andeweg of Urbandale, IA and Kathleen Bozis (Ryan) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Liza Womeldorf (Zac), Alex Rod (Brianna), Griffin Rod, Christina (Max Ewart) and Erin Andeweg; and her great grandchild Elin Womeldorf.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra or Bread for the World.
