She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Rathjens and Bernice Rathjens (Parisho); her husband Earl "Wayne" Purscell; her daughter Carla Stewart (Purscell); and her siblings, Phyllis Shimak (Ed) and James "Jim" Rathjens.
She is survived by: her son Brian Purscell (Laura); her son-in-law Mark Stewart; her grandchildren, Grant Purscell and Heather Bradley (Ryan); and her siblings, Richard Rathjens (Pat), Julia Bunce and Loretta Rathjens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Goettsch Funeral Home - Anamosa (306 E 1st St, Anamosa, IA 52205). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
