She was predeceased by: her parents, Dau Le and Chao Thi Phan; and her son Long Nguyen. She is survived by: her husband Sang Nguyen; and her children, Mai Nguyen of Vietnam, Huong Nguyen of Des Moines, Dung Nguyen of Des Moines, Hai Nguyen of Des Moines and Thanh Nguyen of Des Moines. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (612 E 18th St, Des Moines, IA 50316). Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Westover Funeral Home (6337 Hickman Rd, Des Moines, IA 50322).
