He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Gillman and Mabel Gillman (Roberts); his wife Judy; and his sisters, Margaret and Mavis.
He is survived by: his children, Ed (Elizabeth), Jim (Sheri) and Gaylon Gillman (Dee); his grandchildren, Kesli, Michael, Jamie, Aubrey, Josh, Kristin, Dayna, Emily, Rachel, Delena and Shawna; and his great grandchildren, Dallas, Aydrien, Margo, Jalen, Jayden, Landyn, Ariana, Chevy, Abigail, Katie, Sadler and Canton. He is also survived by 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel (3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Berwick Congregational Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
