Gerald Hewus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Hewus (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on March 8, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Hewus and Bernice Hewus (Sabota); his wife Nola; his children, Laura Young (Hewus) and Kevin Hewus; his grandchildren, Daniel and Riley; and his brothers, Ron Hewus of Bloomfield, IA and Ben Hewus of Carlisle, IA. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Valley View Village (Des Moines) to be used for a music therapy program.
