Frank Morano Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 72, Frank Morano Sr. (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Morano and Minnie Morano; his sister Donna Frowick; and his brothers-in-law, William Frowick, Bill Calisesi and JoJo Cataldo.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Morano; his children, Frank Morano Jr. (Lorna), Stefanie Wells (Jeremy), Anthony Morano and Gina Morano; his siblings, Mary Louise Cataldo, Anna Calisesi, Alphonso Morano (Kim) and Jim Morano (Sherri); his grandchildren, Ashley Steffens (Billy), Amanda Tracy (TJ), Jordan Wells, Austin Wells, Zoey Morano and Gia Morano; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Grimes, Jordan Grimes, Jazmine Grimes, Jazlynne Steffens, Malani Tracy, Maslynn Tracy, Maslee Tracy and Maleia Tracy. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rosary Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A rosary will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (5711 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a charity they will designate at a later date.
