With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Terry Melton of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Melton and Thelma Melton (Frost); and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Blood); his sons, Colin (Raylee) and Drew (Amber); his sister Marva Lee Beghtel; and his grandchildren, Melanie, Ryan, Reyce, Chance and Astrid.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Waveland Golf Association, in care of Waveland Golf Course, 4908 University, Des Moines, IA 50311.
