Florence Anna left this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hacke and Irene Kaufmann Hacke of Dubuque; her husband Paul H. Moran of Martin's Church; and her sister Eleanor Jacobs. She is survived by: her children, Michael Clifford (Vickie), Paul Moran (Karen) and Krista Baskerville (Scott); her grandchildren, Melissa, Jonathon, Alexander, Alison, MacKenzie and Matthew; and her brothers, John Hacke (Barbara) and William Hacke (Marie). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church (1230 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines, IA 50311). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association for research at act.alz.org and St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.
