With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Harper (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Ames, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2024 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Emily departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Emily. Though Emily may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her parents, Earl Harper and Jean Harper (Guntren); her sisters, Stefanie Harper and Sara Carlson (Chad); and her boyfriend Jason Coady. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Sesame the Opossum Treat Fund or a charity of the donor's choice in loving memory of Emily.
