With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emilie Johnson (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on April 2, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Oehmcke (Klaas) and George W. Oehmcke; her spouse Russell Johnson; her sister Grace; and her nephew David.
She is survived by: her children, Nanette Johnson and Craig Johnson (Tricia) of Bowie, Texas; her brother George A. Oehmcke of Longview, Texas; her grandsons, Steven (Kayla) and Brian; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Hudson; and her niece Angela. She is also survived by pet cats.
